Activity Field In Broken Top Next to Tetherow

Family is the inspiration behind the design of this lawn/field in the lovely community of Broken Top. This design stemmed from the homeowners wanting a space for their children to play all of their various sports, for their beloved pets to roam, and to allow an entertainment area for all their friends and family to enjoy. Whether it be a soccer game, a place to throw a frisbee to a pet, or to have a large family picnic, this lawn/field is a space to accommodate it all!

Before the landscape was your typical High Dessert scrub brush.

A view of the field towards the home. This photo was taken in late summer and the xeriscaping planting scheme is just as beautiful in early summer as it is in the latter part of summer month of August.

The beautiful xeriscaping planting scheme with shasta daisies, catmint, blue oat grass, and native fescues. The native fescues and grasses compliment the landscape and set it in its natural surroundings. Note how large the berm is in-between the road, sidewalk, and the lawn. This berm delineates the space and keeps all of the sports equipment in the field and not out in street.
